I believe every research summary should lead back to the underlying opinion.
I built Liberty Precedent for Oklahoma.
Working inside an Oklahoma law firm showed me how much time, context, and confidence legal research can demand. I created Liberty Precedent to make Oklahoma case law easier to find, understand, verify, and connect.
Why I created Liberty Precedent
I am Liberty Dolberry, a University of Oklahoma Political Science graduate, an Oklahoma law firm intern, a future law school applicant, and an aspiring attorney.
Working at a law firm in Oklahoma pushed me to create this project. I saw how deeply legal decisions affect real people, businesses, property, employment, and disputes across our state. I wanted to build a public research starting point that does more than list cases. Liberty Precedent helps people see where a case came from, understand the issue, confirm the citation, and reach the actual opinion.
Every case collected here reflects the standard I want to bring to the legal profession: careful research, clear reasoning, and respect for the source.
What I believe
I believe authority, geography, posture, and verification status should be visible.
I believe useful starting point legal information should be available to everyone.
Liberty Precedent is my independent legal research and educational project. It does not provide legal advice and is not a substitute for a licensed attorney or a comprehensive citator.
